Most people think laminate means a drop-in with a lip. Or a stone undermount with a trench of silicone you clean with a toothbrush. Wyatt sets sinks made for laminate (Corian, plus quartz and stainless). The bowl and the top meet flush. You can't feel the joint. Wipe crumbs straight in.

Laminate, quartz, granite.

If the remodel ran hot, the tops are the line you can change without the kitchen looking like you gave up. Beautiful. You actually use it.

Don't put a hot pan on it. If you do, you didn't total the Ferrari. You visit the dent doctor — or I put a new top on. You could replace this three or four times for what one granite or quartz kitchen usually costs.
